From the drive there are a few steps leading up through the small terraced garden to the front door. This opens up in to a light, airy hall with doors leading to most of the rooms. The hall has wood floors and this follows through to the dining room, kitchen and sitting room.
The kitchen/dining room is bright and spacious with two large windows giving delightful views across the garden. It has been tastefully furnished with large wood table and 6 matching chairs. The modern fitted kitchen has been well equipped and includes, wall mounted TV, electric oven and gas hob, large built in fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, 4 slice toaster and a good selection of crockery, cutlery and cookware. A door leads through to the utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and a stable door to the garden and patio. Off the utility room is Bedroom 3 with double bed, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers, wall mounted Freeview TV, view over the front garden and down to the river, and ensuite shower room with WC, wash basin and heated towel rail.
The sitting room is a generous size with wall to wall windows giving pleasant views across the town down to the river. There is a very large corner sofa as well as a comfy arm chair giving ample seating for 6 people. The TV is wall mounted and is set up with Wi-Fi so that guests can watch films through Netflix if required. The centre piece of the sitting room is the wonderful built in log burner (with ample logs left for your first fire or two). The log store is at the back of the bungalow.
The sizeable Master Bedroom on the other side of the hall is well furnished and includes King Size double bed, chest of drawers, built in wardrobes with mirrored doors, wall mounted 32" freeview TV and has pleasant views across the town down to the river. The en-suite shower room has a large walk in shower, WC, washbasin and heated towel rail. Across the hall is Bedroom 2, a twin room with windows looking out over the garden has a built in wardrobe, dressing table & stool and next door is the family bathroom with bath, separate shower, WC, wash basin and heated towel rail.
To the rear of the property is the large garden and patio area. Patio furniture, chimnea and BBQ are provided. If guests require provisions at the local grocery shop/off license or need the post office to send of your holiday post cards, you only have to walk up through to the end of the garden which brings you out opposite the local shop and post office. One small, well behaved dog may be accepted by prior agreement with the owner.
There is a £30 per week charge for a dog and owners must ensure that the dog is not allowed in the bedrooms or on the furniture. Pets must not be left unattended at any time in the property. Please see Clause 6 of the Booking Conditions.
Please note, for guests who suffer with feather allergies we strongly suggest that you bring your own duvets & pillows as we cannot guarantee that polyester bedding is provided.
We strongly suggest that you consider taking out Holiday Travel/Cancellation Insurance, as this is not included in your booking and you will not be covered should you have to cancel your holiday.
