The property is is only a few minutes walk into the town centre, shops, restaurants, pubs and harbour and in the opposite direction, a 10 minute walk to the sandy beach at Readymoney Cove.

Fowey Villa is a large Victorian town house situated on Fowey's principal water fronting road, the Esplanade and offers spacious accommodation only a few minutes walk into the centre of the town with it's shops, restaurants, pubs and quays.

This fine property is set in an elevated position from the Esplanade and stone steps lead up to the front of the house, via terraced gardens with outside seating area. The front door opens into the entrance hall with Victorian style tiled flooring and door to Bedroom 1 which has a double bed, bedroom furniture, bay window, and cast iron (ornamental) fireplace. Stairs lead up to the next level which has a family bathroom, with bath, shower over, WC and washbasin. There is also access to the utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and Belfast sink from the bathroom. At the front of the house is Bedroom 2, with twin beds, bay window, cast iron feature fireplace and built in wardrobe. Also on this level, there is an additional 2nd small sitting room/study with small sofa, rocking chair and TV.

On the second floor is the main living area, with window and French doors leading out onto an ornate balcony which runs along the front of the property offering somewhere to sit and enjoy the amazing views across the harbour to Polruan and out to sea. The spacious lounge has ample comfortable seating and also has a cast iron feature fireplace (ornamental only). The dining area is at the rear of the living room, with French doors opening onto a rear patio and steps which lead down to the pretty sheltered rear courtyard garden. The newly (for 2017) fitted kitchen is well equipped and includes a gas hob, double oven, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge/freezer and has a good selection of crockery, cutlery and cookware.

On the top floor is the Master Bedroom which has a double bed, built in wardrobe and en-suite shower room consisting of shower, washbasin and WC. The bedroom has an attractive picture window with lovely river views. There is a reserved parking space within a short walking distance.

Although children are welcome, due to the amount of stairs and balcony area, the property may not be suitable for small children and toddlers. Children must be supervised at all times on the balcony areas. Sorry, cots, high chairs and stair gates are not provided.
