Recently the subject of a major programme of renovation and refurbishment, this spacious double fronted property makes for a fantastic holiday. This impressive 4 bedroom, detached Victorian house is situated in an enviable position, very close to the town centre with garaged parking and outstanding views of the river and estuary from the first floor and the terraced garden. The inverted accommodation consists of four double bedrooms, each with its own bath or shower room, a utility room, and upstairs a kitchen and expansive living area with wonderful views.

The entrance to Artists House is a level approach from the garage. There are three bedrooms on this level; Bedroom 1 with twin beds, stripped original wood flooring and an ensuite shower room. Bedroom 2, another large bedroom with super king sized bed, fitted wardrobes with drawers, TV and ensuite bathroom/WC with shower over the bath. Bedroom 3 has a zip and link super king size bed, ensuite bathroom/WC with shower over the bath. A door from the bedroom goes into the utility room with washing machine and tumble drier, and also an exit to the side of the property.

A striking period wood and cast iron staircase leads up to the first floor where there is Bedroom 4 with king size bed, stripped wood floor and a separate shower room/WC opposite. On this level is a spacious living room with three large windows with outstanding river and estuary views, comfortable seating, cast iron wood burning stove, flat screen TV, original wood flooring, dining table and chairs. The kitchen/breakfast room is on this level, again with lovely views across the water and consists of a range of good quality units with built in fridge/freezer, dishwasher, extractor fan, dual fuel cooker with double oven, microwave and good range of equipment.

From here there is access to the conservatory, which can either lead down to the road via a flight of steps or out onto a secluded slate decked area with patio furniture at the rear of the property. A flight of steps leads up to the second garden terrace with patio furniture and excellent water views and a further flight of steps leads up to a level lawned area with bench seating overlooking the river and harbour.
