Bulb Mania at The Eden Project

Bulb Mania at The Eden Project · 10 February 10 - 15 May 10

Bulb Mania at the Eden Project is an astonishing show of daffodils, tulips and other springtime delights coming to bloom in March, April and May. 2010 will be Eden's sixth spring festival and it gets better and better with more than a million bulbs being added in successive waves of colour. Come in March for the daffodils, April for the tulips and May for the lilies.

What's best in February/March? Tamara, the most popular daffodil used as a cut flower, is in abundance at Eden during January. In February, other early flowering favourites such as Tete-a-tete, Martinette, and Jetfire turn Eden's acres to gold. March is the peak daffodil month with the rare Eden Gold among the highlights. The spectacular anemone St Piran enhances the show. Bulb Mania has become a must-see event right up alongside the magnolias, rhododendrons and camellias of the great woodland gardens such as Heligan, Trengwainton and Trebah.
