The Mill is a listed Grade II property and is a beautifully restored former Mill which incorporates an early 19th. Century Granary standing on unusually tall granite staddle stones. The original water wheel has been brought back to life and can been seen working through a large ‘window' of safety glass in the living room. Occupying a wonderfully quiet location, the property is one of the several delightful outbuildings that once formed part of the ancient small estate of Castle.

The Mill can be booked in conjunction with the neighbouring property, The Cow Barn, making a total of 7 bedrooms, if required.

Four steps lead up to the entrance which opens into the well-equipped farmhouse-style kitchen area with range style cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and double Belfast sink. The spacious open plan living/dining room has a beamed ceiling with a central wood-burning stove and an unusual internal glass window which reveals the original water wheel and mill workings. There is a Freesat TV, DVD, radio/CD/cassette player and comfortable seating. Vaulted ceilings, exposed timbers and wooden floors are a feature throughout this level. From the sitting room, three steps lead down to Bedroom 1 - a double bedroom (The Granary) which has a 6ft 6in zip & link bed, vaulted ceiling, a door to the garden and en-suite shower room with separate WC. From the kitchen area, stairs lead down to the lower ground floor which consists of two double bedrooms, bathroom and utility room. Bedroom 2 - (The Bull Pen) has 6ft 6in zip & link beds; with exposed rafters and French doors to patio. Bedroom 3 - (The Stables) also has 6ft 6in zip & link beds, exposed beams, wooden floor, shuttered windows and wet room/shower with WC. There is a separate bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet. Utility room with washer/drier.

Outside there is a sheltered secluded garden with lawn with shrub borders, garden furniture and barbecue. There is parking for several cars available and a cycle store.
