An outstanding property in an outstanding location.  If you are looking for something special look no further.  This exceptional property occupies  a prime position on the waterfront of the delightful harbourside village of Polruan-by-Fowey and is, we believe, one of the most attractive holiday properties in the area.  This much loved retreat has been in the same ownership for over 40 years and has provided a wonderful Cornish holiday experience for three generations of the same family.  With a stylish, contemporary 'seaside' feel, the property has recently undergone some significant improvements and now provides very comfortable accommodation that is very well furnished and equipped.

The light and airy living areas flow out onto outside terraces which enjoy spectacular views over Fowey's beautiful natural harbour and provide outstanding al fresco eating areas, places to sun bathe or just somewhere to sit and contemplate life away from the fast lane.

From West Street a timber gate gives access to a charming courtyard where a stable door leads to the hall.  The accommodation is arranged over a number of interesting, different, levels with almost every room enjoying wonderful views of the harbour.  On the top level is a delightful open plan living area with a sitting room, TV and patio doors that give access to a magnificent, large terrace with panoramic views over the harbour, seating and a gas-fired barbeque.  There are two bedrooms; the master bedroom has a double bed and an excellent, new, ensuite shower room with large shower, wc and hand basin.  Bedroom 2 has two singles (can be linked as a double) and an adjacent bathroom, again newly fitted, with bath/shower, wc and hand basin which, by locking one door, becomes ensuite.  The ground floor incorporates a delightful kitchen that leads into another sitting area.  The kitchen has a built in microwave, ceramic hob, dishwasher and fridge-freezer, extensive work surface and pine dining table.  A walk-in cupboard houses the washing machine and tumble dryer.  The sitting room area includes a small flat screen TV with built-in DVD player and from this area a door leads to a partly covered terrace with outside seating and superb views over the harbour.  We are confidient that you will want to come again and again..... Access to the boathouse and use of the frape mooring via a side door can be made by special arrangement with the owner at an additional £50.00 per week surcharge.  Please note the boathouse is unsuitable for children under the age of 12.
