The Stables is an end cottage conversion of part of a former traditional barn of stone and slate construction, it is believed parts date back to the 18th. century. Cleverly and ingeniously transformed into a charming cottage the property has been tastefully refurbished and decorated to a high standard with charming touches to ensure that guests feel relaxed and comfortable. The cottage has full gas central heating making it an ideal choice for all year round holidays.

The location is idyllic - a ten minute stroll down a meandering footpath, brings one to the famous Readymoney Cove, a spectacular sandy bay flanked by rocky outcrops and the nearby ruins of St Catherine's Castle. There are many superb walks along the coastal path from here, offering breathtaking scenery at every turn. A similarly short walk in the other direction leads to Fowey town centre, one of Cornwall's most picturesque coastal towns which is also famous for its connection with the writer Daphne Du Maurier.

The owners of The Stables have another cottage at Lawhyre, The Cider Press, which sleeps 4 people and both are set in over an acre of gardens in a secluded and child friendly environment. The cottages have their own garden and sitting out area with patio furniture and there is also a separately equipped, communal, children's play area, picnic benches and barbecues. The cottages have the benefit of parking. They are no smoking properties.

Accommodation at the Stables comprises: Open plan Sitting/Dining room - has been comfortably furnished with sofa and easy chair, coffee table, Flat screen TV with freeview, DVD player as well a radio/CD player and matching dining table a chairs.

Kitchen - A full range of modern fitted units, ceramic hob and fan assisted electric oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and washing machine. There is a good selection of crockery, cutlery, cookware and utensils. Bedroom - One double bedded room with fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and lamps.Bathroom - Newly tiled bathroom with bath, shower over, WC and washbasin.

Garden - Front garden and a small, private courtyard to the rear of the property and is accessed from the kitchen.

LINEN
Bed linen is provided and all beds will be made up for your arrival.

Towels are not provided, however, if you wish to hire towels this can be arranged at a cost of £2.50 per set per person/

ELECTRIC & HEATING
Electricity is included. Gas central heating is also included, however, this is an additional charge of £20 per week from 1 October to 1 May.

PARKING AND COMMUNAL AREAS
There is ample parking for all guests and communal gardens including a children's play area. Children must be supervised at all times.
