Raffeen Cottage is a charming 3 bedroom property which has been tastefully re-furbished to a very high standard and offers every modern comfort whilst keeping the traditional cottage charm. Built around 1700 in the heart of Old Fowey this period property is situated in one of the oldest rows of cottages in the town and is tucked away in a small cul-de-sac, only a minute or two from the town, shops, restaurants and the town quays.

This really is, quite simply, the most delightful cottage. All fixtures and fittings are of a very high specification and much thought has gone into providing guests with every home comfort and more. The property has been re-carpeted throughout with quality carpets and is centrally heated making this an ideal choice for all season holidays.

The front door opens into the main hallway with doors leading to the kitchen, sitting room, dining room and through to the back door and garden. The sitting room has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard and includes two top quality sofas, and armchair, an ornamental feature fireplace with remote control electric stove, flat screen plasma TV with free view, Blue Ray DVD player a Play Station 2 with a collection of games. In addition to this there is wifi internet connection. A door leads from here through to the dining room which has been tastefully furnished with a French oak dining table with upholstered chairs, mini hi-fi system and looks over the pretty garden to the rear. There is also a selection of books and games for guests to enjoy should the weather be inclement.

Opposite the sitting room is the kitchen which is very well equipped and has been fitted with a fridge, dishwasher, gas hob and oven, microwave as well as having an excellent selection of Jamie Oliver cookware and Royal Worcester china. There is also a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and a separate WC.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms and the family bathroom. Bedroom 1 has a been beautifully decorated and furnished with a King-size Iron Bed with a luxurious mattress, Wardrobe and matching chest of drawers and also has a JVC plasma TV with free view. Bedroom 2, also beautifully furnished but with a French king-size bed and Luxurious mattress, matching chest of drawers and fitted wardrobe. Bedroom 3 is a smart twin-bedded room with quality sprung single divan beds, wardrobe and storage chest and views down onto the garden. There is a good size family bathroom which has a bath with hand shower over, separate double power shower, WC, wash hand basin. The enclosed garden is to the rear of the property and has also been the subject of a ‘make over' and now includes a remote controlled lighting system, new barbecue with charcoal provided and good quality hardwood garden furniture.

One dog is permitted at this property by prior arrangement only and at a cost of £30 per week. Guests must bring their pets bedding and food bowls. Dogs must not be left in the property unattended and are not allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms. Please see Clause 6 of the Booking Conditions.
