Little Carnethic is an impressive, mostly Victorian family house situated on the western outskirts of Fowey in one of the best residential areas of the town. The house is set well back from the road and is within a few hundred yards of the Parade, a delightful tree lined old carriageway, which leads to the sandy beach at Readymoney Cove only a ten minute walk away.

This stylish family house is now under new ownership and has just undergone extensive refurbishment and tasteful redecoration for the 2012 season. Little Carnethic offers spacious, good quality accommodation and is an ideal choice for a large family or two families sharing

The long private drive way leads up through the sunny, lawned garden to the front of the house where there is a paved patio area with garden furniture. The front door opens into the main hall with a door leading through to the first sitting room. This room has large bay windows looking out over the garden and has been tastefully furnished to include a large sofa, matching easy chair, open fire with Victorian fire surround and a 42" wall mounted TV with DVD player. Along the hall leads to the second, spacious sitting room, also with bay windows overlooking the garden, Victorian ornamental fireplace, large corner style leather sofa, leather chaise longues and extra large comfy bean bag.
Across from this room is the kitchen, fitted with modern units and includes a separate ‘Belfast' sink with wooden drainer, gas cooker with double oven, dishwasher and fridge freezer. There is a good selection of crockery, cutlery, cookware and utensils. The kitchen opens into a very spacious glass conservatory with dining table and seating for 8 (further chairs are stored in the utility room) and French doors lead out on to a paved courtyard. Behind the kitchen is the utility room which houses the washer/dryer, separate sink and door to courtyard. There is a separate WC next to the utility room as well as 2 store cupboards. Stairs from the kitchen lead up to the first floor and three of the bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a 5ft double bed with wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and lamps and a pleasant outlook across the garden. Along the hall is Bedroom 2 with full size bunk beds, chest of drawers and built in cupboard with hanging space. Bedroom 3 has a 5ft double bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, chest of drawers and ensuite shower room. The family bathroom is also on this floor and has a roll-top bath, separate large walk-in shower, WC and washbasin and next door is an additional separate WC. Along the landing is a 2nd staircase leading back down to the ground floor and another leading up to the top floor with 2 further bedrooms. Bedroom 4 has a double bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, chest of drawers and also has the benefit of an en-suite shower room, WC and washbasin. Bedroom 5 has a 5ft double bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, chest of drawers, wicker sofa and a telephone for incoming and local calls only.
