Little Carnethic is an impressive, mostly Victorian family house situated on the western outskirts of Fowey in one of the best residential parts of the town. The house is set well back from the road and is within a few hundred yards of the Parade, a delightful tree lined old carriageway, which leads to the sandy beach at Readymoney Cove only a ten minute walk away. This spacious family house offers fabulous holiday accommodation to a large family or two families sharing and will no doubt help to make a very memorable holiday in Fowey.

The long private drive way leads up through the sunny, lawned garden to the front of the house where there is a paved patio area with garden furniture and an ideal place for alfresco dining. The front door opens into the main hall with a door leading through to the first sitting room. The sitting room has a large window looking out over the garden and has been tastefully furnished to include a large sofa, matching easy chair, comfy bean bag, ornamental Victorian fireplace, 42" flat screen wall mounted TV with DVD player and video player. Along the hallway leads to the 2nd sitting room a very spacious room, also with bay windows overlooking the garden, Victorian ornamental fireplace, large corner style leather sofa, leather chaise longues and comfy bean bag.

Across from this room is the kitchen, fitted with modern units and includes a separate ‘Belfast' sink with wooden drainer, gas cooker with double oven, dishwasher and fridge freezer. There is a good selection of crockery, cutlery, cookware and utensils. The kitchen opens into a very spacious glass conservatory with dining table and seating for 8 (further chairs are stored in the utility room). There are French doors leading out on to a paved courtyard. Behind the kitchen is the utility room which houses the washer/dryer, separate sink and door to courtyard. There is a separate WC next to the utility room. Stairs from the kitchen lead up to the first floor and three of the bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a 5ft double bed with wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and lamps. Across the hall is Bedroom 2, the children's room, with full size bunk beds, chest of drawers, built in cupboard with hanging space. Bedroom 3 has a 5ft double bed with wardrobe and chest of drawers. The family bathroom is also on this floor and has a bath, separate large walk-in shower, WC and washbasin and next door is a further separate WC. Further along the landing is a 2nd staircase leading back down to the ground floor and another leading up to the top floor with two further 2 bedrooms. Bedroom 4 has a double bed with wardrobe, chest of drawers and also has the benefit of an en-suite shower room, WC and washbasin. Bedroom 5 has a 5ft double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bed side tables and lamps, wicker sofa and a telephone for incoming and local calls only.

All bedrooms are very large and spacious and have been tastefully furnished. The property is centrally heated throughout, some rooms have wood floors whilst others are newly carpeted.

Little Carnethic is a fabulous base for a fantastic family holiday offering spacious accommodation, enclosed gardens and ample parking for up to 5 cars. One well behaved dog is allowed by prior arrangement only at a cost of £25.00pw. Dogs are not allowed upstairs, on the furniture or to be left unattended in the house.
