Fowey House is a delightful property situated on Fowey's Esplanade and is a very short distance to the shops, quays, harbour, pubs and restaurants. The sandy beach at Readymoney Cove is only a 15 minute stroll along the river. This large property offers good quality, stylish accommodation with some river views and is close to all amenities.

From the Esplanade stone stairs lead up through the terraced garden and onto the patio area to the front of the house. The front door opens into a tiled hallway with doors to the sitting room, dining room, kitchen and utility room. The sitting room is tastefully furnished with one 3 seater and one 2 seater sofa, wide screen TV with DVD player, a selection of DVD's, books and games. In addition to the central heating there is also a coal effect gas fire. The separate dining room includes large dining table with matching bench seating and chairs. From here leads to the large modern kitchen with ample fitted base and wall units. It is very well equipped and includes, large 5 burner gas cooker with griddle, double oven and grill, dishwasher, fridge, microwave and a good selection of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. The utility area, (off the kitchen), houses the washing machine and tumble dryer and downstairs cloakroom with WC and wash hand basin. A stable door from the kitchen leads out into a small courtyard and steep stairs leading up to the garden area.

On the first floor is a large modern bathroom with roll-top bath, separate walk-in shower, WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail. Also on this floor is Bedroom 1 a spacious room with King size bed, bedroom furniture, wash hand basin and some river views over the rooftops. Bedroom 2 has a double bed, bedroom furniture, wash hand basin and TV/video. Up a further flight of stairs to the top floor is Bedroom 3 which has a double bed, bedroom furniture, wash hand basin, TV/DVD and pleasant rooftop views of the estuary, Polruan and out to sea. Bedroom 4 has a single bed, bedroom furniture and wash hand basin. There is also a further cloakroom with WC and wash hand basin on this floor.

To the rear of the property and accessed via a steep flight of stone steps is a large patio area with garden furniture and BBQ. To the front of the property is a smaller patio area with seating and steep stone steps leading down through a terraced garden onto the road. Due to the many stairs at Fowey House, this property may not be suitable for the very young, the elderly or infirm.

Fowey House has been tastefully furnished throughout, is well maintained and is an ideal choice for a large family or two smaller parties sharing.
