Mevagissey

Mevagissey is regarded by many as one of the most picturesque of Cornwall's harbourside villages. Once the centre of Cornwall's pilchard fishing industry, it still boasts a working harbour with several small fishing boats. The closely packed streets are home to many gift shops, craft workshops, galleries, restaurants and pubs. The World of Model Railways Exhibition is a fascinating attraction for children and adults alike. At the end of June the annual Feast Week provides lively local entertainment including dances in the streets.
